DESCRIPTION:Due to unforeseen circumstances this talk has been postponed. A recording of a lecture by Anne Anderson will be shown instead on a different subject. The LCA apologise for any inconvenience caused. \nAntoni Gaudi created a unique, instantly recognisable style, from the colourful Casa Batllo to the sweeping curves of Casa Mila and the iconic Sagrada Familia.\nMocked after WWII, the Sagrada Familia regained attention in the 1950s thanks to Salvador Dali. Today it is world-famous, its unfinished state part of its appeal.\nGaudi’s long-awaited masterpiece is set for completion in 2026, marking 100 years since the death of “God’s Architect”.\nHeld in the Abraham Dixon Hall, Friday 27th February 2pm – 4pm, with a break for refreshments approx 2.55pm. All lectures will commence at 2pm. Individual lectures £7.50 each or block book all eight for £40. \nYou can book seats for all the lectures, including all eight, via Ticket Tailor click here.\nAlternatively tickets can be booked by emailing lca1@leatherheadca.org.uk ( mailto:lca1@leatherheadca.org.uk ) or visiting the office in person on weekday mornings.
