Concert- A Trio of Classics

Sir András Schiff play-directs and conducts the Philharmonia Orchestra in a trio of classical masterpieces

Haydn: Piano Concerto in D
His last keyboard concerto with a lively Rondo finale

Schubert: Symphony No 8 in B minor (Unfinished)
Expect to hear just the two completed movements, and to wonder what might have followed

Mozart: Piano Concerto No 24 in C minor
Unusually for Mozart in a minor key, scored for the largest orchestral accompaniment of any of his piano concertos
