Knitting and Crocheting for Charity

Would you be interested in coming along to the Kirby Library and use up your wool to knit items for charity?

There are lots of causes that ask for help providing knitted items. Just a few examples: Socks for Ukraine, knitted animals for a children’s hospice, Beanie hats, blankets, jumpers and items for prem babies.

The first meeting will be on Thursday 8 February between 10 -12. Fran will be there to greet you with tea and biscuits  and for a chance to get together with other members who enjoy these crafts in the comfort of the Kirby Library. Patterns can be downloaded from websites here at the Institute or if you have access to a laptop or PC check out www.ukhandknitting.com/knitting-for-charity.  Patterns are free to download.  If you do not have a printer, the office will print a copy for you.

We look forward to seeing you.
