Welcome to England’s largest festival of history and culture! Throughout Mole Valley – 8 to 17 September 2023

Every September thousands of volunteers across England organise events to discover, learn about and celebrate our fantastic history and culture, all of which are FREE to explore. This year the theme is ‘Creativity Unwrapped’

The Letherhead Institute is proud to have been associated with the Heritage Open Days Festival for over 20 years and this year we are welcoming Mark Hill.

Mole Valley is a treasure trove of Antiques Centres. Mark will give a persuasive introduction to buying antiques and integrating and using them in today’s homes.

We’ll consider different meanings of the word value and take a look at what current and future generations of collectors are buying, why and how they are buying and displaying it.
