Art History Lecture – the story of Cedric Morris by Julie Verity

This is the story of Cedric Morris’ life (1889-1982), told in three phases. First as a boy gifted with freedom by wealthy parents who appreciated the arts and nature. Second, building his life as an artist, and third, bringing together his two obsessions of painting and horticulture – and especially, Irises.

Held in the Abraham Dixon Hall, Friday 6th February 2pm – 4pm, with a break for refreshments approx 2.55pm. All lectures will commence at 2pm. Individual lectures £7.50 each or block book all eight via the office for £40 by emailing lca1@leatherheadca.org.uk.
