Sixty Years On: Life in Britain as seen In 1960s films.

Colin Schindler will give us his talk on 60 years of history seen through the films of the time.

Colin Schindler is an author, broadcaster and lecturer.  For twenty years he was a Bafta award winning television writer and producer of many popular programmes including the series Lovejoy. He has written a series of books on British and American social history and written and presented documentaries for BBC Television and written plays for BBC Radio Four.  He taught History at Cambridge University with an emphasis on the impact of sport and film on twentieth century society.  He is also an Arts Society speaker.
