After such a quiet 18 months at the Leatherhead Community Association, it is very exciting to see Autumn is shaping up to be busy with lots of activities and events planned.
Aswell as the return of many regular groups (see the newsletter here for more details), we also have a 60’s and 70’s music night- Please Please Me taking place on 24th September. DJ Tony Houchen will be playing all your favourite songs from the era. Seated at tables of six, you will be able to bring your own nibbles and drinks to enjoy on the night. Why not get a group of friends together or come along and make some new ones. I’m sure there will be space for some dancing if you can’t keep your feet still! Tickets are £5 each.
We will also be opening our building for Heritage Open Day. The theme this year is Edible England. Natasha Sutton from Aubel Chocolates in Ashtead will be giving a talk on ‘The Art of Fine Artisan Chocolate Making’ on Friday 17th September at 2pm. This is a free event but tickets must be requested in advance.
Booking forms for all events are available in the ‘What’s On‘ section website or from the LCA office.
