Arts Alive- Art History Lectures

Each October Mole Valley Arts Alive festival takes place. This community art festival is comprises of around 80 local events including shows, exhibitions, workshops, dance, creative writing and more. There is something for all ages and abilities.

For 2025 the LCA Art History with A Difference talks are part of the Arts Alive programme. Taking place each Friday from 2-4pm, these stand alone lectures cover a wide array of topics including:

3rd October – Lowry by Jessica Saraga
10th October – Weimar by Ronnie Ireland
17th October – Genius of Women Artists by Tammy Ellis
24th October – Gardens in Paintings by David Marsh
7th November – Joaquin Sorolla by Anne Anderson
14th November – The Game of Pairs by Ronnie Ireland
21st November – The London Impressionists by Anne Anderson
28th November – Turner by Cathy Brett
