Adam Aaronson has been at the heart of British Studio Glass for nearly 40 years, from running galleries dedicated to glass art to becoming a highly skilled glass artist in his own right.

He specialises in freeblown glass and has been inspired by the paintings of Impressionist artists such as Van Gogh and Turner as well as his love of nature, particularly the play of light on water and the landscape.

Adam has exhibited all over the world and his work can be found in numerous private and public collections. Amongst the latter are the Royal Academy, the Museum of Art and Design in New York, and the British Museum. He also takes commissions and collaborates with interior designers to create house interiors and unique glass items.

We will visit his studio which will reveal the great range of work undertaken and watch a glassblowing demonstration.
